These cookies are buttery, with just the right amount of spice to warm you up in the fall season.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups salted butter (room temp.)
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 5 tsp Pumpkin Spice Rooibos (powdered in spice grinder)
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Spice Powder
- 4½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream butter, sugar, Pumpkin Spice Rooibos powder, pumpkin spice powder, vanilla extract and salt together in a mixing bowl.
- Slowly add flour, and work into dough. ( add a splash of milk if needed, but dough should be flaky.
- Roll dough into 2 inch balls with hands and place on baking sheet.
- Press down with fork to make a criss cross pattern.
- Bake in oven for 22-24 minutes, until golden.
