🫖 Tea & Products
What temperature should water be for tea?
Different teas brew best at different temperatures:
- Black tea: near boiling (95–100°C)
- Green tea: around 70–80°C
- Oolong tea: around 85–95°C
- Herbal teas: near boiling (95–100°C)
Using the right water temperature helps bring out the best flavour from each tea.
How much loose-leaf tea should I use per cup?
A good starting point is about one teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per cup (250 ml) of water.
Some teas may require a little more.
Start with one teaspoon and adjust from there. Always check the recommended brewing instructions for the specific tea you’re preparing
What is the difference between loose-leaf tea and tea bags?
Loose-leaf tea is generally higher in quality, offering fuller flavor and aroma compared to tea bags, which often contain broken tea leaves or tea dust.
Loose tea allows more room for the leaves to expand and release their full taste.
How should I store my tea to keep it fresh?
Store your tea in a cool, dry place away from light, air, moisture, and strong odors.
Use an airtight container, preferably opaque or made of tin, to preserve freshness and flavor. You can also store your teas in the bags they come in.
Do you offer organic teas?
Yes, we carry a wide selection of certified organic teas, including green, black, herbal, and oolong varieties. These are free from synthetic pesticides and additives.

What’s the best way to brew loose-leaf tea?
Use 1 tsp of loose-leaf tea per 250ml cup. Steep at the recommended water temperature for each variety. A tea infuser or strainer can help with easy brewing.
We recommend starting with 2-3 minutes, try the tea, and steep longer if needed.
Herbal teas and Fruit Infusions can be steeped longer.
Are your teas suitable for people with dietary restrictions?
Many of our teas are naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. However, we recommend checking the ingredient list on each product page for specific dietary concerns.
Can I make iced tea using your blends?
Absolutely! Most of our teas, especially herbal and fruit blends, taste great as iced teas. Brew them hot, let them cool, and pour over ice.
You can also try the cold steep method we use in store. One teaspoon per cup of water. Fill with cold water and put in the fridge overnight. Strain in the morning and enjoy!
Do you sell teaware and accessories?
Yes, we offer a range of tea accessories, including teapots, infusers, mugs, kettles, and storage tins — everything you need to brew the perfect cup.
