How to make iced tea: We recommend using 1 tsp of tea per cup (250ml) of water. Place tea in container and fill with COLD water. Let steep in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours, strain, and enjoy! Iced tea will keep for 3-5 days.
We find this to be the tastiest method, with the most consistent results. The tea never comes into contact with hot water, and therefore, the tannins present in tea cannot be released. This makes for a smooth tasting iced tea!
If you want to sweeten it up a little bit, we recommend making a simple syrup made of equal parts sugar and hot water. Simple syrup will dissolve into your cold drink better than granulated sugar, and you can personalize the sweetness of your iced tea to your liking! You can make a big batch and leave it in the fridge for 2 weeks.
